If you haven’t read this book, One Thousand Gifts, I would encourage you to do so. Making this list has turned everyday moments into treasures, minutes when I would be angry and impatient into quiet reflections on the goodness in my life, and (when I remember to do it) changed my whole countenance to one of gratitude and joy.
It is my utmost goal to live each day permeated with the grace, thanksgiving, and joy that comes only from knowing and surrendering wholly to Christ. My list (which now is ongoing at the bottom of the page) is no where near as articulate as hers, or for that matter my dear friend Blair, but it is telling our story in one liners. Fixing memories that I forget to inscribe. Drawing my eyes and heart heavenward as I slog through this earthly mess. Worshipping.
