I am obsessed with old windows. And mason jars, but I’ll save that one for another day. In the meantime, here is the first of at least four (I’ll try to keep it to four, anyway) old window projects. I found this one at an antique mall here in town (thanks to Gigi’s eagle eye), rubbed it down with olive oil and ordered 10×10 prints off the interweb. Because of course the openings were 9×9, preventing me from printing them myself. Of course. Taped the pictures with some scrapbook paper (which happened to have one of my favorite sayings–“Life is good”), and threw it up on our totally grungy kitchen wall. I like to think the dirt adds character …. I love renting.
Anyway, I like to call it, “View From My Window”.
