I whine a lot here. I come with my tears and heart cries over bad parenting days, hard decisions, failures, etc. You’d think I am a big hot mess {I am.}

So today, I just want you all to know that we were blessed with a good day.

I had a shower.

Not only did I bathe, but I even got mascara and lip gloss slathered on before showing myself in public.

We did ALL our schoolwork AND started our garden.

I got half my Monday housework done {and the house is tidy-ish}.

I had one-on-one time with each of my sweet babes. With NO YELLING.

I didn’t yell at them today. {This is big.}

His mercies are new every morning. {Lamentations 3:21-24}. What a gift.

{Yes, she has fake tattoos on every limb. Yes, she has a sundress on in February March. And, oh, I wore mom jeans today. I said it was a good day, not a perfect day.}

Thankful for the tender mercies of a good day. And laughs. I’m thankful for laughs.
