The past eight months have been a season of bearing others’ burdens. {Gladly … it is a blessing to love the Body the way I have been loved}. But it is not without its challenges, and moments of extreme fatigue. Especially as I navigate the valleys of my own life, my journey through motherhood, homeschooling, and our unpredictable Army existence.
I am bearing up prayers for the ones I love, and I can’t lie. I am discouraged.
So these days, you can find me here {my back porch}, coffee in hand, rejoicing over my children screaming joyfully at each other on the play set …
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord {Psalm 31:24, NKJV}.
My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever {Psalm 73:26, NKJV}.
Finding rest, rejoicing, in the Rock of my Salvation, the strength of my heart.
Beloved, whether you are burdened with your own trials, or those of the ones around you … know this …
Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from Him.
Truly He is my rock and my salvation;
He is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God;
He is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge {Psalm 62:5-8, NIV}.
The fields of hope in which we sow are harvested in Heaven.
Until then, be of good courage.
With love, and prayers for you all.
