So I desperately wanted to spend wads of cash and hire a newborn photographer (this one, specifically) and have her take a billion photos of my precious babes. Alas, I cannot afford her, and so, you get the backyard staging/I have no professional training/amateur hour effort.
But oh, these boys are so beautiful it doesn’t matter … In other news, I am resorting to a sort of weekly round up because I’m reading more than I’m writing (just for the moment) and these are the others’ whose words feed me …
Food for the soul …
- small and glad – betweenbluerocks … “Once upon a dark day, the Hope of the world was buried in tomb in a garden, and all those who had hoped grieved and wondered and saw no way to hope again. And then, and then, He rose again, making this garden-graveyard-world of ours a place where it is never safe to assume that the things we grieve for will stay in their graves.” This. A million times.
- Sunday Night Church – Jen Hatmaker over at A Deeper Story … all about community and vulnerability and relationships and drinking wine in pajama pants (all things I’m passionate about).
- A Prayer for the Brokehearted – A Holy Experience … “It’s the hurting and wounded who are always the ones called to be medics — to administer lavish grace, to cast the messy in the best, merciful light.”
With love to you all in the middle of the night on a Thursday.
