Okay … so we don’t “do” Halloween. For a multitude of reasons. {If you would like the list, I would be happy to email you privately}. We don’t really like to talk about it because we have no problems if you choose to celebrate.
With that caveat out of the way, now hear this.
I love tradition. Especially family traditions. I want to build a legacy of happy memories for my babes, centered around the time we spend together. So in lieu of Halloween we have Really Special Family Date Night.
We started last year with a magic-stuffed treasure hunt at Weston State Park. A perfect night with this sweet little family o’ mine.
This year we took a little stroll through the woods at Dunbar Cave. Have I mentioned that I heart fall?
So, since we don’t have excessively cute photos of our offspring decked out in various costumes, you’ll have to settle for excessively cute photos of our babes in the wood with the best. daddy. ever. {I am aware of the potential for bias here, but I stand by my claims.}
What a wonderful world.
