We’ve moved five times in eight years. And in each place, I’m d.y.i.n.g. for friendship, for community. For soul food. 

Community.

Everyone wants it … friends that you wander into their house at random, in pajamas, in tears. Friends you call in the middle of night with bad news, friends you call in the middle of the night with good news. Women who give and serve and love you for nothing in return. 

It’s because they love you.
